Kitchen Civils were awarded the Main Contractor contract on Beverley South/Minster Way Roundabout and Highway Infrastructure Works in February 2019.

Minster Way is a large trunk road between Beverley & Bridlington and the M62.

As part of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Beverley J plan, a new roundabout was to be built on the existing infrastructure to provide access to a new housing development and a new Park & Ride to provide traffic decongestion to Beverley town centre.

Scope of Works

• Bulk Earthworks circa 11,500m3
• Large diameter drainage and Foul and Surface Water Pumping Station
• New 4 Arm Roundabout on a live carriageway
• Construction of 1500m of new carriageway
• Surface Water Attenuation
• De-watering
• Planing, Surfacing and Tie In’s to existing infrastructure
• HV Ducting and Mains Services
• Lighting and Signage
• Traffic Management and Diversions
• Stakeholder engagement with Local Authority, Internal Drainage Boards, Utility Providers, and existing residents.
